Greg Potter, Ph.D., LCPC,
CCMHC, NCC, CCH, CDCH.
Following a master’s degree in psychology,
Dr. Potter took his Ph.D. in Counseling. He has been in the private
practice of mental health counseling in Manhattan since 1981.
He is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Kansas, a
Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor by the Academy of
Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselors, and a National Certified
Counselor by the National Board for Certified Counselors. He is certified
in Clinical Hypnosis by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis,
and is a Certified Diplomate in Clinical Hypnotherapy by the
National Board for Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists. Dr.
Potter is also a Certified Instructor of Couple Communication,
a communication skills program.
Dr. Potter also works extensively with alcohol and other drug addictions. He is an active community member, and is a past president of the Manhattan Breakfast Optimist Club. He has been active in youth sports coaching soccer, flag football, and baseball since 1986. Although his time for writing has been limited, he has publications in the field of smoking cessation, and using hypnosis for improving memory, concentration, recall, pain control, and overcoming addictions. His book Winning the War with Self, takes a look inside as to how we humans tend to create internal struggles that get in the way of our progress and healthy living.
Kristen Monét Ramírez, M.Coun., NCC, LSW
Mrs. Ramírez received her master’s degree in counseling from Idaho State University, specializing in marital, couple, and family counseling. Her undergraduate background is in social work and sociology. She is accomplished at individual (child and adult) counseling, play therapy, group counseling, family counseling, and couple/marital counseling.
Mrs. Ramírez is very passionate in her work. She has counseled victims of sexual abuse and children suffering with severe behavioral problems. Topics of concern to her clients covered in counseling sessions include: depression, anxiety, stress symptoms, grief and loss, anger, self worth struggles, and relationship issues. Her passion is to help others find meaning, discover the power of choice, and guide personal awareness and discovery.

Kathi Becker, Office Manager
Kathi has been with us since March 2007 and brings over
20 years of experience. She is skilled in billing and insurance
matters and will always make you feel comfortable in our
office. Please call her for assistance in scheduling, billing,
